主要工作职责：
1. Manage the purchasing engineering function within the defined area of responsibility.
2. Initiate and drive cost optimization/reduction within the development process and along the projects.
3. Responsible for the cost center and the CC planning, cost optimization by early involvement of supplier know-how and technology.
4. Focus on cost target and time target within the development process by managing the sourcing market.
5. Perform market and technology research, identification, value analysis and implementation of new technologies and suppliers.
6. Develop a selected supplier pool and manage the involvement of suppliers into development projects.
7. Ensure preferred supplier concept during product development process.
8. Ensure knowledge transfer from supplier to R&D center.
9. Strong collaboration with worldwide R&D departments and purchasing.
10. Propose and support design-to-cost projects, R&D process, initiate productivity projects, benchmarking.

任职资格的具体描述：
任职要求和条件:1. University degree in natural sciences or engineering, with minimum 10 years working experience in R&D and with procurement background.
2. Consolidated experience in materials, engineering, mechanic, electronics, optic and/or LED.
3. Management of the product development related procurement process over all business areas.
4. Good command of both oral and written English, with commercial background or additional study.
