岗位职责
- This opening is within the Platform Products Planning team. This team is responsible for providing a consistent and accurate supply plan commitment to the division business units and customers, as well as driving internal and external factories to meet the supply commit. This position will be as an Inventory analyst.
- Helps set strategic direction of inventory and supply planning: driving models for improved working capital investments in inventory, improved models for supply planning for factory optimization, flexibility, and responsiveness, and future-state direction on tools
- Integrated financial analysis: look at supply chain risk management and the impacts of disruptions on the supply chain; analytics and recommendations for sourcing decisions and global flexibility with impact on inventory buffer levels and locations
- Integrating forecast accuracy work from Business Management Team into the supply planning processes
- Management and adherence to Finished Goods Buffering/ ABC Class codes/ mfg strategy
- Management and adherence to location based specifications held in inventory control
- Disposition of inactive inventory and returns
- Surplus inventory analysis and driving demand shaping with business units in order to consume.
- Scraps/ Reserves (projected reserves, finance close work)
- Collaboration with Finance (costing, ASP, margin, etc)
- Inventory forecasting
- Inventory reporting/ regular metrics/ kpis
- Drive inventory reporting automation/ training/ adoption
